There have been full supports from the University for AACSB Accreditation in the School since the very beginning. The scope of the Accreditation is the University, therefore, the University has spare no efforts to facilitate the AACSB Accreditation in the School in many ways, like policy, systems, fundings, human power, physical resources, green lights for global exchanges, and standalone compound buildings, etc.

Since 2018, the School has been aligned with the University in the development of globalization in the strategic plan. One of initiatives in the strategic plan is to become a member and get accredited by AACSB. In order to be aligned with 2020 new standards and 10 guiding principles, the University has monitored and supervised the journey to the Accreditation of AACSB. The University has encouraged and motivated the School to create more opportunities in speeding up the sustainable growth in engagement, innovation and impact, eventually, realize the mission of the School to become the first class school of management in the region, the nation and even the world.

Normally, business schools for AACSB accreditation participate in the initial accreditation process which could take up to seven years, the School has been aimed for shorter phases through the journey. The phases of processes in the School are detailed in the following Fig.1.

   The milestones in the Fig.1:

l  In 2018, Started to prepare for the Journey towards the AACSB Accreditation.

l  In July 2020, Gained the membership of AACSB.

l  In June 2021, Passed the Eligibility Application (EA) and Mentor Lawrence Rose

was appointed.

l  In Feb.2024, iSER was accepted and began to write the Progress Report 1.

l  In Aug.2024, The Progress Report 1 was accepted and continued to write the Progress Report 2.

l  In June 2025, The Progress Report 2 was accepted, PRT chair and members were appointed and prepared for the PreVisit and the Visit.

l  In Jan.2026, the final SER was submitted and prepared for the PreVisit.

l  In March, 2026, the PreVisit was accomplished and prepared for the Visit.

l  In June 2026, the Visit will be conducted.
